Does anyone have any creative fundraising ideas for my Relay For Life Team?

  • I'm part of a Relay for Life team at my school, and to put it simply, we're not doing to well as far as collecting money. Our theme is "Jamming Cancer", so we decided to see if any store would donate a guitar that we could raffel. I've called a few stores and all of them pretty much blew me off. There's other teams at our school that have sucked up most of the fundraising opportunities. Does anyone have any ideas???     i participated in a relay before and they were selling glow necklaces pretty good, a lot of people bought it, i know this online company that has some info about fundraising with glow sticks, they even have a page for relay for life, i think it's www.glowwithus.com

have a old fashion BBQ and have a 3 legged relay race.a pie eating contest kissing booth dunking booth bring back old fashion fun.and ask for donations from food chains and party stores even certain sporting good store may help.sell raffle tickets for guitar.or maybe stick to a gift certificate

Yep here is an idea that has worked and raised almost $8,000.00 in only five hours...Make up baskets with different themes and sell tickets and people put tickets to which basket they would like to win and then pick winners.
