United Nations Help?

Help! Can minors do any sort of volunteer work for the United Nations?

• I was wondering if children can do any type of work to assist the UN . And by minor I mean under 18. I'm only 13 years old, but I would REALLY (X10) like to help the United Nations in order to recieve community service hours, or just for self-satisfaction. I already checked the official volunteer website for the UN, and it says that you must be older than 25 to do on-site volunteer work, and older than 18 to do online volunteer work. But is there anything, just ANYTHING that children can do to help them? Anything at all? Pleaseeeeee? I really dont want to wait for another 5 years or so to volunteer. If there is something that I am eligible to do as a 13 year old, please tell me how I should get started and what I should do. Thanks in advance! :)

  Why don't you do your community service hours for your own country? The united nations (Not capitalized as a sign of disrespect.) is an evil, power hungry organization that does no good for anyone. You'd be doing yourself and the rest of the world a favor by staying away from them. I'm sure you have animal shelters, nursing homes, community gardens, or homeless shelters right in your area. Try giving of yourself locally. And then, try to continue giving of yourself after your hours are up. That's the real test. Are you willing to give up your own time when you don't stand to gain from it?
