What is the best charity shop in london?

I've got loads of old clothes... what should I do with them? Should I donate do a charity shop?

  • They are very old, do you think a charity shop would except them? PS: I live in London!

  • Answer:

Yeah, just drop them into one of them bags that they send through your letterbox asking for unwanted items. Orrr, go to a third world country such as Bangladesh and hand them out to beggars. They will be so thankful, believe me.

Well look through them and think whether any of them are actually fit for wearing. If they are worn right through in the crotch, stretched out of shape and all bobbly and yellow under the arms then obviously any charity shop is going to chuck them straight in the bin. If not then donate them.

If they're old but smart, a charity shop will certainly accept them; if they're old and tatty/torn/stained, look out for a clothes bank and stuff them in there.

You could try. Check and see if there's a freecycle group in your area. It's an online group where you offer things up and people come and get them from you. You should be able to find it from Google.
