Dose anyone know, other than goodwill. Somewhere I can donate used childrens clothes to a good cause?

You may find *one* organization to pick up the clothes, but not more. And all of the places that accepting clothing donations sell them (or throw them away if they are torn or stained at all). Why? Because it's much more cost effective to sell the clothes and use the money to pay for the services abused and battered women, people living in poverty, etc. need, and because new clothes are actually very affordable, so much so that even the poorest of families prefer to buy new clothes than accept clothing donations. It is incredibly expensive to store used clothes, to go through them and make sure they aren't stained, torn, have bed bugs, etc. Goodwill is definitely the best org, IMO, because they use the money from the sale of clothes to fund their programs to help people enter or re-enter the work force (so that they don't have to live in poverty or on government assistance), because they use their stores to help train these people (in sales, in inventory practices, in customer service, etc.), because they aren't religious based (ALL are served and welcomed), and because it means items actually get to people who will value them.
