Fundraiser ideas....?

I am in need of ideas for fundraising. A girlfriend of mine has a 6 month ols baby boy who was in an accident and now I have been charged witht the task of coming up w/ ideas to help the family. I have the basic ideas of jars w/ a short story about what happend and a pic so people can drop change into it, and also a bar b q plate or spagettie plate. And my son says I could find out about selling chocolate bars or something. What about you guys, any ideas? Thank you in advance for all efforts to help.
