How does a charity work?

How can I get into charity work and what not?

  • I don't have a lot of money, but I have a working brain, and an able body, and I want to change the world. And make it a better place. What can I do for the community, and the world, to help, at the age of 14? Teenage boy, 5'11", straight A's. How do I get into charity work, volunteer work, etc? I'm not one of those people who stick around to see the clubs and what not, and I'm what you would call a "nerd" so I don't exactly socialize. What do I do?

    Charity will not always with money. Charity with physical strength (service) can also be counted. Money will not do any work as it is. Some body should take the money and do work. In your case with out taking money you will serve the devoties of your nearest temple as a valanteers in the temple. Helping the pundits in their duties to perform puja etc., is also counts a charity. helping to clean the temple etc., But don't disturb your regular life like study/job/family etc.,Good luck.
