National honors society community service and leadership hours?

i have several questions about nhs community service... 1. i have done community service but it was a couple of years ago. can i still use those hours? does it have to be registered? 2. what can i do for a leadership activity and community service? i only have a month to get this all in. please give lots of options! :) 3. do online services such as the pencil project acceptable? if so how would i be able to fill it out? are there any other services like that online? feel free to any that you can! :)
