How old are you when you are too old to become a fire fighter?

Do they really check your testicles when you want to become a volunteer fire fighter?

• Well my friend is a volunteer fire fighter and he told me that b4 they accept you they check your blood pressure and they do "check" your balls. Is this really true ? If it's true why is that and how is the process? I want to be a volunteer fire fighter however this is the only thing I am thinking on :) I don't want somebody to touch my testicles :)

  I don't believe that. The town I live in has a volunteer fire dept and sad to say most of them are terribly overweight. As a health issue I don't see the point in checking their testicles. Also it's hard enough to get volunteers and I can't see anyone being turned down if they only had 1 testicle. Perhaps your friend is just kidding you...
