How do you raise money to volunteer abroad?

Does anyone know how I can raise money to fund a volunteer project in Mexico?

• Ive heard about people asking trusts, companies, or lrge organizations if they can sponsor their trip, but I have no clue which companies to ask or how to go about doing it. I really REALLY need to attend this trip, I need job experience in Mexico, and the only time I have is during the summer for volunteer projects. Please, if you know who I could write to, I would appreciate it sooo mucho!
