How difficult is it to join the Peace Corps?

How old do you have to be to join peace corps?

    The bottom-line is 18 BUT you have to have a four-year college degree. Essentially, there are no 18-year-olds in Peace Corps these days. I confirmed this with a recriuter the other day. It's possible only IF you have been working (not volunteering) in a *relevant* job for year and years. So if, by 18, you have been running your family farm since you turned 10, it's possible. But I don't think that someone who couldn't go to the Peace Corps web site and click the "requirements," which *clearly* state out the ages, has been doing that. You can volunteer many, many places. The best place to start is in your own community.
