How do you raise money for a cause?

How can I raise money for a good cause?

• Hi! I am currently trying to raise money for both the Make-A-Wish foundation and the animal shelter, because they are both doing wonderful things, and I am aware that they could both use a bit more money to continue doing what they do. To raise money, I am collecting water bottles and taking them to one of those places where they give you five cents per bottle. However, you need twently bottles just to raise one dollar! Crazy! I want to raise money a little quicker... Of course I will continue doing this, because every dollar helps them, but i was just wondering if there were any other (possibly quicker) ways to raise money for these causes.   Well first and foremost, let me commend you for doing such a good work and deed for such good causes! Your efforts and time I'm sure are greatly appreciated and will be remembered by God! You will be BLESSED! I think you should get some friends and/or associates and/or colleagues together and go to the city meetings and/or town meetings and try to talk to them about having a city wide or maybe just a neighborhood get together to raise money. You could do thongs like fashion shows, cook outs, bake sales, oh here's a good one... auctions! You can get a group of people together who are willing to auction themselves off like to clean houses and cook for someone. Or maybe just babysit children. I have many ideas that would and/or could work. So try some of those to see if they help. Best wishes and luck and many blessings to you!!!
