How do I become a member of a Maryland Volunteer Fire Department?

  There is no Maryland Volunteer Fire Department. There are communities in Maryland that have individual volunteer fire departments. You have to contact the fire department in your community and find out if they involve volunteers at all, how you become a volunteer, etc. Every fire station is different in terms of how new volunteers are trained and inducted. It's up to you to find out the rules for your local fire department.
