    Job Corps is nationwide so if a person wants to get away from their town, they usually can do that as openings come about. I was in it (L.A. location) for a few months in the 90s. They were strict and somewhat well-meaning but I've heard in recent years (like the school system), teachers and other staff are much more lackadaisical (lazy ***). I would recommend it for anyone if college or trade school were absolutely not affordable, were nearly homeless or you need to get out of your part of town - TODAY
