Is the Humane Society strictly volunteer work?

What work will American cancer society have for me as a volunteer?

  • I'm going to join ACS in NY and they have not told me what kind of jobs to expect. I am going to be a volunteer there for 2 days a week when I don't have college. Does anyone know? Do they give travel de-frays etc? 10 points for best answer TODAY

    If you are volunteering, they probably aren't going to give you a travel de-fray. As for what you might be doing as a volunteer: answering phones typing preparing mailings calling and asking people for donations cleaning helping with fund raising events - set up, serve food, tear down, clean up, etc. Basically, you will be doing whatever job needs to be done at the time. Good luck and nice of you to be willing to donate your time!
