What are good volunteer activities?

What are some volunteer activities that teenagers could do?

  • I am a 13 year old girl, and my friends and I want to volunteer. And help out our community some. There is like 6 of us, and we could possibly get a few more girls involved in this. I was wondering if anyone knew of anything we could do.... it could be like off of a website or something also like the rescue missions. Things like that...we love running together and training for races we also do Relay For Life. Anything with cancer is awesome because that has affected our lives soo much. Great! That's good that you want to get involved. I suggest: -Helping at a local food shelf -Helping at animal shelters, such as when Christmas comes around, a lot of the shelters leave the animals there with one person coming in once or twice a day to feed and let them go to the bathroom. They don't get much love and attention for a few days. Try getting people throughout the town to host a pet inside their house for a couple days and then when the shelter is up and running full time. the people can return the animals or adopt. It is a great success! -Help at spaghetti feeds for cancer patients. A lot of time you see ads in the newspaper. -Get involved in your church and churches do a lot of volunteering. Good luck!
