I have 30 community service hours to complete asap anyone have any past expeiences or know of any ?

To the replies given so far: You shouldn't assume that community service means a court imposed sentence. The question may have been in reference to volunteer hours needed for a club assignment, class assignment, scholarship requirement, etc.

The court should have given you a list of qualifying companies and/or TYPES of companies / organizations that they will accept. Note that many volunteer organizations are requiring background checks so getting on may take time until your check clears. (That's why the list is given b/c these places have agreements with the court & waive a back ground check b/c they now it's not going to come back clean.) Call your County Clerks office for referrals. Or they may tell you to come on down and pick up the form you should have received at your hearing. It would be great to find a 24 hour agency & put in 15 hours for 2 days. That passes quickly. And as other answer suggested, it you put in a lot of effort, they credit you for more hours than you worked.

Cleaning the floors etc at a city recreation center. Pulling weeds at the same place. Picking up trash along the roadway. I'm sure the court that gave you the sentence can give you some ideas too.

try your local court house...and or the food banks...and churches good luck some times they have 2 for one hours
