What are good volunteering programs?

What are some good programs/organizations that i could join that have to do with volunteering?

• currently, i am experiencing an existential depression, and would like to further my life's experiences. i would like to give back to the world in whatever way that i can, and need to offer some type of fulfillment. it's like a void i need to fill, and through volunteering i feel i can accomplish that. but i would need to join something that i will not be required to spend a whole lot of money on (being that my financial status is not too bright at the moment), and will take me from the u.s. shores, and importantly, something that i don't have to have an degree for? any suggestions let me know please!

  Well I know Easter Seals always needs help. Usually dealing with a local goodwill for the "less fortunate". The link below is pretty cool.
