Does anyone work in the accounting field for the government?

Volunteer work that would look good for entering the Accounting profession?

  • I am a 3rd Business Economics major at UCI, but I am planning on entering the accounting profession. I am in the minor program for accounting and am doing pretty well. The bad thing is that I do not have any experience in the field nor any experience at all. I was wondering if anyone would know where I could volunteer my services that would look good towards the Accounting Profession? Like can I be a volunteer bookkeeper? Are there places where I could help people with taxes? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
