Large Fundraising Ideas?

High school fundraising ideas. 10 pts for best idea!?

  • I'm the sophomore class treasurer and we have to come up with ideas of fundraising, these ideas need to be passed by the office and principal... any good ideas? the more creative the better. we aren't allowed to have repeat fund raisers as the freshman, juniors, and seniors. Some ideas that are already done are... the carnival match making bake sale hot drinks in the morning - and snacks after school snacks some ideas I already have are: smashing cars water balloons thrown at teachers gift wrapping at stores goody bags with candy sell magazines/lollipops/krispykreme doughnuts sell roses and stuff on holidays best idea gets 10 pts! and most creative!

  • Answer:

My school did these little "secrest admirer" notes one time. We had some really cute little cards that you could buy for like a dollar. Then you wrote whatever you wanted to say, and put who it was for, and what homeroom they were in. Then you turned it into the little secret admirer box, or whatever, and whenever the delivery day was, the notes were delivered to the classes. I also think the water balloon thing would have a good turnout, if you could find some willing teachers. My school also had a day where they had bought food from different restaurants, and you could buy whatever they had during lunch..

you could make a cook book, with collective book of favorite snakes and make it cute then you could sell it at games.

Have the office or principal take a look at this fundraising site: www.funderbug.com You can raise alot of money, especially at Christmas time, which is right around the corner. Also, you can do specific campaigns throughout the year. One fundraising campaign you could do consists of recruiting people to sign up a new e-bay account. Every new, active account, will earn $15 for your school. This is just one of many ways this site can help your school raise money.

I like your idea to sell roses on holidays. You might take it a step further and do "seasonal" fundraising, with something different for each holiday. Check here for ideas to use throughout the year: http://www.fundraiserhelp.com/seasonal-fundraisers.htm Not mentioned here, but another holiday to include for schools is April Fools day.

A full fledged fashion show always seems to go over with the high school crowd. Lots of potential from the advertising, to what to wear from local shops, and who to model.
