How old do you have to be to do community service?

Ok so how can i start to do community service?

• i jsut got 2 letters from my school. one is about the National Honor Society and another is for American technology honor society. i would be able to join both is i actually did something with my life instead of jsut school. i am not atheletic at all so sports ren't an option. i definitley won't get into NHS but ATHS is different. i need to say that i'll do community service and do it to get into it at the end of the year for next year. where can i go to sign up for community service or something. cuz it says i need to raise money for a charity or community service. i can't raise money for the life of me. i can't even sell things. took me 1 month to sell $50 of stuff when everyone else took about 2 weeks. and i bought like $12 of cruddy chips... never doing that again. so anyways, where can i go to sign up for community service? its a pretty small town, aobut 10,000 ppl and like 628 ppl in the highschool. do u think the school will give me options?

  The school can give you options, but you can also join a local community service club. I'm a member of Kiwanis, there are also Lions, Rotary, Shriners. There are also national organizations you can find a local chapter of, like Habitat for Humanity, Operation Santa Claus, Manna.
