Ideas for a military service project?

Community service project ideas?

• Can anyone give me some ideas for a great community service project? Unique ideas are encouraged :) thank you! i'll try to do the idea that i feel is the most needed or best idea.

  Check with your local Church, they have many great opportunities to do things like, go to a mission ( with a group from the Church of course, not along) and help make sandwiches, serve food etc..... Our Church also has once a month "Greet the Troops" at the airport day, to welcome home our service men and women. You can help set up for activities at your Church. Check with your Church, I'm sure they have a long list. You could also donate your time to things like visiting with Senior Citizens in your area, talking with them, reading to them. The local library may also have activities you can help out with. You can offer to help out at a Vetanarian's office, my son is going to do that for his Senior High School project this year. Offer to help an elderly person in your neighborhood with things like raking their yard, running some errands for them, or moving things for them in their homes that are too heavy for them to do. Volunteer for "Meals on Wheels" and help deliver food to senior citizens or people who are disabled or homebound. Do a food drive, help gather unwanted household items...blankets, toys etc... and deliver them your your local mission or outreach program. God Bless you.Hope this helps.
