Please tell me some intresting facts about Jyvakyla University of Applied Sciences in Finland.?

    If Jyväskylä university of applied sciences is considered anything amazingly special in Finland, then I haven't heard about it. At least it isn't considered a very good university, because it's actually a polytechnic (I know, this is only about terminology, but university is still a bit different thing than a polytechnic... Calling it "university of applied sciences" is quite misleading in my humble opinion). But Jyväskylä also has a very good university (a real one:)), and it is a nice moderately sized (in Finnish standards) city with lots of students (it feels like half of the population of Jyväskylä is students), beautiful nature and countryside nearby and still plenty of shops, restaurants and other kinds of services available. So the city is really nice and I suppose the polytechnic is OK too. Could just as well be one of the best of its kind in Finland; if you want to study nursing, I think that's a good choice. Also Helsinki and Tampere could be good bets (if they offer the degree you're after), both of them a bit bigger cities in southern Finland.

I told Jasmine my girlfriend about this, so now I'll tell you.. My ancestor , Capt. Julio Vasquez was the one that started this place. You see, back in 1475, 'ole Capt Julio was in Finland off loading some supplies.. The dudes that were working on the dock were kinda lazy, so 'ole Capt Julio coined the term " APPLIED SCIENCES', by stating that if those"gentlemen' applied themselves, the science of getting this job done would become crystal clear! And that's how the Jyvakyla University became!!!!!!!
