Does anyone know a way I can help with the Haiti relief effort without donating money?

Just like you, I have heard about the Haiti Earthquake and it's victims a million times. And I also felt useless since I don't have a fortune to share. So I looked around on the net searching for alternatives. And I am glad to tell you all that I have found a way to help the Haitians today without spending a dime but just a bit of my time! If you are raising money for Haiti, I perhaps wouldn't go out and get a permit, but if someone questioned me, I would say I was doing it for Haitian relief. Another thing you could is find out where they were loading trucks and planes for Haiti and volunteer for that work. They will need a lot and you could find who is volunteering in the community and help, e.g. water, food, etc.

You can sell items on ebay and donate the money from there. Rally your friends to donate items that they need desperately like water, band aids, pain killers, baby wipes etc. Volunteer your time at a local organization, like a church, red cross, etc they will need help to collect the donations. Most importantly, God bless you for wanting to help. Pray, God loves the Haitian people, pray for their strength, that only takes time and faith.

If they have plenty of farm, they wouldn't need our help. They are too lazy to grow food crop and keep livestock. But noooo, 90% of people were in labor force
