Fund-raiser ideas for a non-profit organization?

Can you think of any easy fundraiser ideas?

  • I am looking for some great and easy fundraiser ideas for an organization called Speed the Light with my youth group. We each need to try and raise $1000. Me and this other girl teamed up to try and raise $2000 we have $100 by a yard sale. We need some more CREATIVE ideas. Not like a car wash or a poker night. Something CREATIVE that no one else would think of. Something appropriate. Remember this is a Christian youth group!!!

    (: Many people do all sorts of things - Sell Pizza Hut gift cards or other fast food restaurant many have special offers - Create a giant yard sale with your group and unwanted things - Have a Car wash - Have a cook off and have the entry fee be like 15 dollars - Do different contests like look- a- likes with entry fees - Have a talent show tickets 3.50 for youth 5 for adult - Show a movie, tickets 2 50 each

My older sister is a youth group leader as well, and she came up with the idea of having a bake sell. Tell everyone in your youth group to bake something (cupcakes would be good). It doesn't cost much for the ingredients so if you sell all the cupcakes you will make a profit. Probably a lot more than what you spent for everything. Or you could try something similar to that idea. Hope that helped.

You could hold a diner date night for the adults in your church. Car wash LOL yea that to. Bake sale... Pancake breakfast maybe....That's all I can think of.

get people to put in money if someone will shave their hair into a mullet or something funny like that.
