Volunteering programs for young people?

So, I'm in college now, and I was thinking about doing some volunteering work after I graduate. I checked out Peace Corps, but you have to be American citizen to apply, and I live in Europe. Then I found United Nations Volunteers but you have to be at least 25 when you apply, and have two years of work experience. I mean, is it really that difficult to apply for helping people?! What is the point of volunteering then? If you guys know any organization that might be what I'm looking for, give me some tips, please :) P.S. Please don't suggest community work, or anything like that because we don't have that in my country, and besides there are people who need help all over the world. :)
