feed them yourself, like i do. fastfood places are usally open, especially in hollywood. i buy a bunch of dollar burgers and make them put them in seperate bags. then i throw a few bucks in each bag. and go drive around and find me some homeless. argyle by the 101 any freeway underpass, you can find them. sometimes you just got to chuck the bags out the window at them because they act dead, and you just yell...hey there's money that damm bag don't let someone else get it.....works......screw all that training and acting like volunteering is some type of a logistical championship to win. and how dare they turn down any help.....wipes....there's always hungry people out there. go find them,.

Everyone wants to volunteer to feed people on Thanksgiving. There's so many people wanting to volunteer that there isn't work for all of them. Then they go back to their lives and there aren't enough people to dole out soup to the homeless the next day. Volunteering on Thanksgiving only makes you feel good. I suggest that you let a local family host you for dinner at their home on Thanksgiving Day. If you're a soldier, then you deserve some thanks yourself. There should be something on your base that will let you sign up to eat dinner with someone. Then you can go feed the homeless. Be a regular volunteer that shows up every week to work. That's what the homeless need.
