Would volunteering at the local library count as an individual service project for National Honor Society?
-
I received an e-mail from my NHS leader telling everyone that there was a volunteer opportunity at the library over the summer. All we have to do is sign up for at least one two-hour shift a week, where we sit at a table and give out prizes to kids who complete the summer reading program. She said that, if we choose to do it, we can get our ISP done over the summer. Is this true? Or does our ISP have to be an actual "project" that we created, like a fundraiser or a food drive? If I work at the library, I'll be able to get 30hrs in, which is the amount of time we need to spend on our project.
