How do I raise $2000?

do a bottle drive, go door to door asking people for empty bottles my hockey team did it once nd made like 3000 in 2 days.....we also had 8 van full packed completly tho

Is there somewhere close to you who can give you the use of a venue for free like a community centre or perhaps somewhere on campus? Have a big fundraising night with maybe a 70s Disco theme or something else you think would appeal to you. During the night you can have some hairy guys willing to have their chest/back waxed-you sell wax strips for $5 over a few hours and at at a certain time(say 9pm) the guy gets waxed using however many strips have been sold. Have a couple of your friends with 'holsters' containing bottles of shots and they go round selling shots for $2 or $3 dollars(ask people to donate the bottles). Ask as many people as you can to donate prizes for a raffle. Hold a slave auction where people offer their services - ask the parents etc of other students and your friends to donate their time doing stuff like 1 hour of laundry, 2 hours of gardening etc and people at the event bid for how much they would pay for the service( I can give you more details on this if you need me to!) This can all be done on the same night, and in the same venue if it is big enough. Ask local businesses to donate prizes or services in return for some free advertising.
