Can anyone guide me in General Membership into AKA?

I currently attend Kaplan University (on-line). I have a 3.93 GPA and have read over the requirements for undergraduate membership into the sorority. Of course on-line universities do not have sororities, so gereral membership for me is possible. From what I have read, I need to be presented by a graduate chapter for general membership. Thus far I have not be able to get any information on community service events to the local chapter and their website hasn't been updated in a while. I did find a another chapter with a "fashion show" in October, I purchased my ticket, but would still like to meet and properly show my interest prior to October! I am aware that the graduate MIP is by invitation only also. Thanks for any advice!
Answer:

Call the local chapter and ask them how to get involved or call the national headquarters and ask them to help you get in touch with the local recommending chapter. AKA is not a secret society just call them!
