Where can I volunteer at to work with animals?

I'm 14 years old, and I've been really thinking to myself a lot lately. I always stay home, and I'm not allowed to go to friend's houses. I'm not really talented, so why don't I just volunteer? I love animals and I wish I could be with them every second of my life. I know that this isn't some kind of website where I register to volunteer at some place, (if that kind of website is possible), but I'd really like to volunteer at some kind of animal hospital. Can someone give me some tips to where or how can I volunteer?

I would think that the SPCA would like to see you come though the doors - they take a lot of volunteers because they are a non profit organization - you could ago help them with fund raising ( maybe in school)
