Do you think I'll make friends volunteering at the hospital?

  • I'm a 17 year old homeschooled girl and I'll be volunteering at the hospital after new years. I'm really excited to be gaining work experience and helping the community, and I'm also really hoping to make friends. Do you think I'll make friends volunteering at the hospital?

    Yes but be careful and "on the ball" as since your home schooled your not never adept at social skills and engagement. You'll be seeing sick people or people with problems so do not expect them all to be very forthcoming or happy to see you. Hope it goes OK for you though

Yes I think you will make friends. It's random who you'll be working with though. If you don't click with anyone don't be discouraged. There are a lot of places to meet new friends

Patients may be less friendly because they may be ill. So be prepared for the duties of your service. And, let yourself be gratified for the service that you will be delivering people
