How do I set up a non-profit organisation?

How can I set myself up as a charitable organisation?

• OK, I would appreciate it if you took the time to look at this "Information Kit" which gives details on how I must get my license for a food stall. http://www.portphillip.vic.gov.au/attach... I have this genius was of making money by having a food stall, although I have to pay over $100 for a single day if I am to set myself up as a profit-orientated food stall. But the link I provided shows that I can pay as little as $47 for an unstated length of time, as long as am collecting money on behalf of a charity. So....Is there any way I can create a charity that benefits me, so i can get away with this. i.e. I was thinking I could create the "Luke CD collection" charity or something like that, and I spend all the money I receive on cds. any ideas.... PS: It is sort of a scam, but my customers will know that I'm only a kid trying to make a little coin.

  i really appreciate your thoughts. well, you can set up a food stall, and sell homemade food. people would encourage your idea and you would have made money to donate. REMEMBER TO SET UP A BOARD NEAR YOU STALL TELLING THAT YOU WANT TO HELP DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE, AND WANT EVERYBODY TO HELP.
