Answer:
Red Cross is not your answer right now at least. The reason is that they have progressive training and assignments, generally unless there are special skills involved like being a dr or nurse a yr or so at least of local disaster help while taking courses that you pay or then at least a yr working on near by disasters as needed, then national or at least a yr or 2 before they would even think of sending you to any international site. There are other groups with different requirements that might eet your needs and be a way you can help.

If you have no skills or strength, what are the attributes you would have to offer. Bearing in mind that you will go through a selection process. You just cannot decide you are going abroad with the red cross. They are extremely selective and require skilled volunteers/workers. However, if you apply and are selected the Red Cross will have the information you require. There are volunteer programmes in Canada why don't you do some research to see what you are able to apply for and you might get some work experience, in the process?

No. No volunteer groups are providing free transportation or lodging for volunteers going to Japan, and most groups are not accepting volunteers who cannot speak Japan. if you don't speak Japanese, and you are a high school drop out, sorry, but you aren't going to Japan.
