Does anyone know where i can do community service?

  • I am a 13 year old looking for community services near Rowland Heights or Diamond Bar. I really want to do community service at a hospital if possible. Please help!(:

    Have to ask what are your local child labour laws. I know here in Oz there's restrictions. Having said that - there's always informal volunteer work, like mowing a local pensioner's lawns, weeding, carrying grocery's home etc. Contact your local Library or School Principal to see if there's something you can do there. .

You can actually do volunteering at a retirement home. There are many retirement homes waiting for volunteers and it is almost the same as a hospital since your in a hospital situation and are helping the old out. This should be the best situation in your case if you really want to work in a hospital. Hospitals only want like experienced people but with retirement homes, you get to work in hospital situations and make this experience go toward your job in the hospital.

a hosptial might be a tough issue unless you have a parent with you, that might go with a lot of things. animal shelters would love it, old folks homes, just go over play some cards talk just about anything. check out an adopt a highway program. you can get a bunch of people in on it with you and you clean garbage, it doesnt sound fun but its helpful.
