Volunteer work in Haiti?

• I am really interested in doing some volunteering work in Haiti during winter break; which is 3 wks long, but don't know where to start. I've email certain organizations ( Red Cross and etc.) and reach dead ends. So I need some help, the Country of Haiti means a lot to me because it's so close to me (meaning in location), I reside in Florida. Thanks in Advance!

  i have many contacts email me, i live in haiti, one group is m.o.p they need voulnteers and they are always welcome, center for nutrition mite need someone and star catcher are groups that i know they are all located in cap haitien haiti and can be found on the web except for the center for nutrition, what are your skills? are you a doctor there is lots of work in port au prince and there are more things to do depnding on your skills i know a clinic in mourne rouge and in millot that need doctors, well let me know
