Teens and Volunteering?

Volunteering opportunities for teens?

• Well I'm a freshman in high school in Los Angeles, California. My high school requires community service hours and I also love volunteering and helping out so I was hoping that I could get suggestions on places that would be good for me to volunteer (any generals ideas would be great!) Just a little background: I think I want to pursue a business related major in college, not exactly sure which one yet, so any suggestions with businesses or organizations that need help in my area would be great! (or any ideas for internships) I love animals, and I have thought about working at the local shelter I was thinking about working at the hospital, but since I have no interest in the medical field I wasn't sure that would be the best choice for me I really enjoy talking to people and making connections I'm really good with kids I am fine with paperwork work and other jobs, I really don't have too many objections I would rather work for something that is continuous and steady, rather than just a one-time event.
