How do you start a youth group in AZ?

I need ideas for my youth group. Any suggestions?

• First of all, we do not have much of a youth group to begin with. We are trying to bring in teens in our area. Our church membership on average is about 30. and our youth membership is around 3-5. We have an awesome building for youth, but we need to carpet it and paint (the walls are white). If you have any links to pics that would rock! With the few teens we have we came up with the youth group name 'The NOW Generation" Because we truly believe that the youth is to days generation. Not the NEXT, but the NOW.. Any thoughts on our name? Also to draw in more teens, we are going to plan once a month group activities such as bowling night, pizza night, movie night etc. and also do a devotional lesson before or after. Once we build up, we would like to start having fundraisers to get a steady money flow so we can take a trip to Kings island, and do things like Winter Jam and Judgement house next year. any thoughts, suggestions and things we can do to draw the youth in? and keep them in church to learn about Jesus, and have fun while doing it?

  I congratulate you on your effort to want to provide teens with a positive force in their lives. You might try spreading the word of your group on Facebook. Many local newspapers will donate ad space to non-profit organizations, you might try that. I like the name too. Good luck to you!
