I think that the most surprising thing that people don't know about Pittsburgh is the number of beheadings that happen in downtown Pittsburgh every Saturday. Any time your in town, be sure to go to Market Square at 8:00 am on Saturdays, youll be shocked at what you find. Besides that, the city is pretty safe- you should take the same precautions that you take in any city- dont walk by yourself in dark alleys at night, stay where you are familiar, and the like. Its a great place to live (besides the beheadings)
