remember to take your Alzheimer's medication. You may want to print this 2-3 times. Just kidding. Activities and Medicare or healthcare tips are good.

staff B-days, new residents "all about", new staff?, quote of residents , if it is for the families of the residents maybe a "tips for the younger generation out there"? just some, but you probably already thought of those

All of the above esp whiskeygirl's answer. It's a great idea to ask the nursing home residents what they're interested to read about. I like the one about profiling one of the residents each issue. I bet they would enjoy that a lot.

A monthly calendar: Easter Celebration, Saturday Pancake Breakfast, Comedy Night,etc. You can highlight some of the residents by interviewing them about where they grew up, etc. Or do a 'The Wildest Thing I Ever Did Was...' Column.(At least that'll be fun.) It helps to discuss resources too, who to call in case of an emergency, how to find the local library, etc. because many of the residents may be having memory issues and could use the reminders to keep them having things to look forward to doing.

Don't bother, 3/4 of them can't even count to 3!!

In addition to what the original "answerer" said. Birthdays of the month, and you could add a small section for "50 years ago this month this, this and this happened."

cross word puzzles word finds where is waldo pictures find pix of old car and play name that car find anything old and ask for the name butter ceral ect keep their minds going they may teach you something put pix of old presidents or just people who have done something with in their life time also consider putting pix of clients young to middle life and ask other clients who is this. good luck
