There are many, many ways. You can do a car wash, a bake sale, garage sale, etc. Ask friends and neighbors for help/donations for whatever you attempt. You will probably have to do several events to raise that much but you can always call the local newspaper or television station and tell them about your fundraiser and see if they will assist and give you some free advertisement.
