What do you do with community service hours?

What are some fun ways to earn community service hours?

  • so..for leadership i need five hours of community service and i'm in this junior scholarship federation where you need at least six hours. i really love to get involved in the community, but i seriously have basically no time on my hands. but..if i do find time, what are some fun things i can do for community service, and what can i do to become a part of it?

    First of all you have to decide if the leadership is important enough to you for you to make time for it. If the leadership is important enough to you then that is where you have to make time for it if not then you are just wasting your time trying for something that does'nt mean all that much to you in reality. Otherwise, a good place to start is your local community center or check with your towns city hall and they should be able to tell you what programs they have available. Good luck.

I'm going to back up part of Roberts answer. Your going to have to make some time in order to get this to happen. However you might want to look at this another way. There are probably volunteering opportunites available that directly relate to your profession or hobbies. Pick what interests you and there are charitable organizations that will probably have volunteer positions corresponding to that. It's also a great way to get business skills that look great on a resume. Good luck with whatever you pick for community service. You will find it time well spent.

you might want to try looking at the Disney site. They are having some kind of special where you give a day and get a day free at Disney. You need to provide more info about what you want to do. You can do everything from helping in the parks to working at the boys and girls club. There are so may ways to help that you can pick your interests and work in those areas.
