How can I donate my clothes to Goodwill?

  • I have a ton of clothes to donate, and I want to donate them to Goodwill. There is a store near my city, but it would take about 30 minutes to drive there. I wouldn't really mind driving there if I had to, but I was wondering if they have a number or anything that you can call to have them come to your house and pick it up, like the Salvation Army and Purple Heart does. Thanks!

Where I Live I have a number of options - I can call a local pick-up number, another was, (I say "was" because I do not know if they still use it), and that was that the SA used to have remote "Drop Off" sites at several locations around town - like in K-mart Parking Lots - for example. I also use the DAV, (Disabled Veterans of America). I Know for sure that they pickup on scheduled days of the month. LOL.

In my travels I have found that most charities have certain days of the week when they will be in certain areas for pick up. You need to call your local Goodwill and find out when they will be in your area.
