Does anyone know of any overseas volunteer programs?

Does anyone know of any Free volunteer work programs.?

• Most of the voulenteer programs I find cost a large amount of money. I am looking for one with little to no cost. I am in the US, and would like to travel abroad. I need to spread my wings a bit. I am quite the humanitarian, and i am looking for any work. I have experince in light construction, as well as experince in professional cooking. I grew up in a rural setting, so physical labor is right up my alley. Due to the fact that i have no actuall college degree the peacecorps is out. Anyone have any ideas?

  if you're looking to travel with a volunteer service, you'll have to pay for your travel. they can't take that cash away from the charities. have you tried the peace corps? i don't know but, maybe they pay for travel. there are many beautiful places in our wonderful country as well. maybe you can find something closer to home.
