    1. Active transport requires ATP , passive does not. 2. Permeable means that things can pass through it. Certain things can pass through the cell membrane, it's picky though (selective) 3. 4. Cell membrane 5. They usually just fuse in with the membrane. 6. Doesn't have energy to metabolize.
