What is the best ink pen out there for under $5?

I SWALLOWED BLUE PEN INK 5 YEARS AGO. SHOULD I BE WORRIED???????????? WHAT TO DO?????????????? HELP PLEASE?

  • I KNOW IT'S 5 YEARS AGO BUT I'M A LITTLE WORRIED IF IT HAS LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS OR THERE MAY HAVE BEEN AN SERIOUS(BUT QUITE) EFFECT THAT I'M UNAWARE OF. I WAS AT A CLASSROOM AND MY BLUE PEN WASN'T WORKING SO I WAS STUPID ENOUGH THAT I TRIED TO SUCK UP THE INK HOPING IT WOULD WORK. BUT THE INK WENT ONTO MY MOUTH AND I DECIDED TO SWALLOW.

    By now everything has passed through your system. Most inks used today for pens like that are nontoxic due to possible legalities, so I would not worry.

Blue pen ink differs from black in the fact that is has chemicals in it that are very lethal to the human kidneys when swallowed. Your intestines can't digest these chemicals and so it is stored in the kidneys. Studies show that it takes about 6 years for it to become lethal. You should go to a hospital and get your kidneys flushed as soon as possible.

In the first place, there just isn't that much ink in a ballpoint pen, (more in a full fountain pen - if you can even find one today). In the second place, as long as nothing has turned blue, (like the whites of your eyes), I can't see that you'll have any problems at this late date. So just quit worrying about it, you'l be OK.

If you havent noticed any effects by now I wouldnt worry about it. The body is amazingly good at dealing with foreign substances and eliminating them. I doubt if there is any trace of the ink remaining or any ill effects.

if it was just a drop, and you haven't had any side effects by now, then I wouldn't worry.. but if you want to be sure, talk with ur dr. There are blood test they can do.
