What Ecosystems are most related to Down Syndrome?

• Hello Yahoo! I need some help with a project incorporating an ecosystem with a disease of down syndrome. Which ecosystems are most associated with down syndrome in anyway? Like which ecosystem have a higher down syndrome rate or which ecosystem pollution can cause down syndrome or ANYTHING. Please and thank you!

  Downs syndrome (DS) is a result of a human being Aneuploidy (having an abnormal amount of chromosomes, 21 in this case). We do see comparable disorders in chimps and mice, however DS is a human problem so ecosystems is a bad choice of words (unless you want to look at the world ecosytem/biome). No one knows for sure why DS occurs and there's no way to prevent the chromosomal error that causes it. We do know however that as women get older the chances of have a child with DS increase. So you could put somthing about an increase in longevity in the world ecyosytem causes an increse in the cases of DS. However if you have choice I would recomment that you do not pursue this project as it is flawed
