Is there such a thing as a force field that can stop people from entering a certain area. And if someone tries?

such a force fiel;d can be constructed by means of a new technology which I describe. The field is based on quantum-electronics although its nature is not quite what you may suppose. In other words it wont give you an electric shock but you will find that the barrier is a lot like invisible glass. Moreover time on one side of the barrier will flow at a different rate than on the other...
