What is the coolest science fair project ever?

What are some good ideas for a science fair project?

  • Hi, I'm Alexa and I'm twelve years old, and am in the seventh grade. I was wondering if any of you know of any good science fair project ideas (in the form of a question) that I could perform for this year's science fair. I'm shooting towards a high school project, just so I can elevate my chances of getting a higher grade for more effort, and so I can compete in the actual fair. Any idea is fine, but I prefer it not being particularly common, if that's okay. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Alexa! My name is Betsy, Im 24 and I am going to college to be a nurse. My instructor had told us about a science fair project that she had done with her son that I thought was pretty cool. It involves chicken bones, baking them and soking them in acid. When you bake the bones all of the collagen leaves the bone leaving behind only the salts making the bones brick hard. When you soak the bones in acid all of the salts are removed from the bone leaving them limp and rubbery. It's a really cool idea. If you are interested just let me know and I will give you the detail on how to conduct this experiment!
