what does efficiency mean in terms of energy transfer?
-
Answer:
Energy output is close to energy input. There can never be 100% efficiency, because some is always lost as heat. But if the energy output is close to energy input, then you can say it is efficient, but if you put in a lot of energy and very little work is done, then it is NOT efficient.
