How does stem cells work?

How do stem cells work?

  • Do they just inject the stem cells where ever? I just got done reading an article about stem cells being used to enlarge breasts. Do they just inject it into the breasts? Can't this give you cancers or tumors?

  • Answer:

thing's only give you cancer when they have genetic mismatches i.e: ACGU compared to AUGC.. but the p53 clears this up, if it fails you have unrestricted growth, and will not stop at G0 phase. EMBRYONIC stem cells have caused tertomas, (cancers with teeth/hair/ etc..) but stem cells derived from RBC (red blood cells) have been proven to be safe, and no documented cancer as a result of that yet. a much safer alternative for breast augmentation would be to take saw palmetto its an anti-androgen (for males) and promotes estrogen/ a more thicker "upper body". plus its a hellava alot cheaper. or you can go to a doctor waste lots of $$ and get finasteride, its also an anti androgen.
